FoodSHAP^® e-Assessment platform aims to give students who completed any of the FoodSHAP^® e-Learning courses an option to take their examination remotely at home or in the office for an additional fee instead of going to testing centers.

The platform provides an easy-to-use and secure online exam venue for students while being guided and invigilated by FoodSHAP® examination officer. Invigilation means to watch students taking an exam in order to check that they do not cheat or conduct any malpractice, upholding the security and integrity of our certificates.

Onsite examination at Training/Testing Centers is still available at limited locations due to the pandemic, still per appointment with your Authorized Course Provider.

• 1 laptop on stable desk or a desktop computer
• 1 mobile phone with camera
• 1 valid government or school ID with photo
• stable internet connection
• a room free from distractions, loud noise and good lighting

3 Easy Steps

• Download the app on your desktop or laptop before the exam and read the joining instruction email.
• Connect to Exam Officer on the day of exam using the link provided (via Zoom or Google Meet)
• Open the app and take the exam.

To take the remote e-assessment, please contact your Authorized Course Provider (ACP) where you registered for the training. Additional Fees will apply since the service is new and was not included in the previous price package. The additional fee will cover the cost to access our dedicated platform, assessment.foodshap.com, and one-on-one invigilation by our examination officer. The fee is good for 1 remote invigilation and in case of retake when failed, student needs to pay separately for another schedule. Fees will be provided to you by your ACP.

Please be reminded that you need to take your exam within 6 months after completion of your e-Learning training. If it has been more than 6 months already, self-review is required. You may request to your provider a re-access on elearning.foodshap.com to review the contents and your printed book as well before taking the remote exam.

Yes, you may request directly to your Authorized Course Provider where you registered for the course that you wanted to complete. Additional Fees will apply since the service is new and was not included on the previous price package. The fee is good for 1 remote invigilation and in case of another retake when failed, student needs to pay separately for another schedule. Fees will be provided to you by your ACP. Please be reminded that you need to take your exam within 6 months after completion of your e-Learning training or classroom training.

• If you attended via e-Learning, you may request to your provider re-access on elearning.foodshap.com to review the contents and your printed book as well before taking the remote exam.
• I was not able to have my retake due to lockdown since March 2020. If your 6 months allowed retake period was affected from March 2020 due to lockdown, you may still avail retake either at testing centers or via remote exam but self-review is required with your printed book and notes (if you attended the classroom training before October 2019). Please check with your provider on your retake status.
